We were tasked by Coty SAS with raising awareness of Davidoff Cool Water’s Love The Ocean 2015 campaign in collaboration with National Geographic.
What we did
Love The Ocean, now in its fourth year, is a synergy between Davidoff Cool Water and National Geographic, promoting The Pristine Seas Mission – the aim of which is to explore, research and protect the planet’s ocean waters. We selected influencers from key markets with a cumulative following of almost 4 million on Instagram who shared beautiful content of the ocean.
We started the campaign during the World Ocean Summit in Lisbon, followed by five key influencer takeovers of the Davidoff Cool Waters‘ social media channels. Each invited the audience to share why the ocean is so important to them, using the hashtags #WhatMakesTheOcean and #LoveTheOcean.
To date, the campaign has had a reach of over 80 million and has generated over 7,000 pieces of UGC on Instagram alone, whilst also living on Facebook and Twitter. By the end of the campaign, one fan will be crowned as the Love The Ocean ambassador for 2016 and will have a chance to participate in exciting future engagements and activities with Davidoff Cool Water.
