#CultHosts: Artificial Intelligence vs Emotional Intelligence

Last night we held our second #CultHosts event event for 2017.

The event assembled big brands, industry peers and key media together to delve into an incredibly interesting and controversial subject matter; Artificial Intelligence vs Emotional Intelligence and was our first ever ticketed event, with all proceeds being donated to The Big Issue Foundation. Stephen Robertson, the CEO of The Big Issue Foundation kicked the evening off with a chat about the organisation and also about the relationship they have with Cult.

Chaired by our very own CEO and Co-Founder, Cat Turner; Matt Burgess from Wired, Amarie Powar from IBM Watson, Tony Guillan from Tate, Alastair Harvey from Cortexica, Jonathan Chippindale from Holition challenged the status quo and discussed how AI is impacting how humans relate to technology and one another.

The prestigious and diverse panel offered insight into how AI is disrupting various industries, the impact it will have on businesses and offered opinions on how it could change customer experience going forward and wether AI will ever trump EI.

London was sizzling at 28 degrees yesterday, so guests cooled down with G&T’s from Bloom, Pale Ale from East London Brewery and snacked on delicious popchips.

A massive thank you to our panel and all the old and new faces that attended last night!

The #CultHosts series continues throughout the year at Protein Studios, with the next one in June!
